We took the Red Decker bus to Mount Wellington and we were so pleased with the trip. There were several stops at lookout spots and the water springs on the way, which were terrific, but the best spot was the summit, with its panoramic views and excellent facilities. Luckily it was a sunny day! The driver's commentary was first class and he drove so carefully, especially on the tight corners, that we really felt very safe.

Took a ride with this Bus today and Tony our driver was amazing. Very knowledgeable and made the tour fun, even with his “poor dad jokes”

The hop on/hop off double decker bus was a great way for us to get our bearings on our first full day here. We sat on the top deck so we had a great view and got a commentary all the way around Hobart. We booked a combo which included a 2nd bus tour up to Mt Wellington, which was spectacular. Thanks to our bus driver Christian, who drove us up the narrow road to Mt Wellington and gave a great commentary about the area and its history. Very informative, and because we booked the combo, we got a 2nd day on the hop on/hop off bus.

The only bus trip that can get you to the very top of Mt Wellington when there is snow .... and there was snow 😍 The Hop-on Hop-off bus is a great way to see around Hobart and see where to stop and visit. A must is the 48 hr trip

Fantastic tour up the mountain and back. Tony the driver of the bus was amazing very knowledgeable and even took photos of hubby and I together. Hubby was very happy he could take in the view as he wasn’t driving. It is a far safer option to take this tour than to drive the conditions can be very dangerous.

We did the Hop on-Hop off 2 day bus tour of Hobart and glad we got the 2 day pass as 1 day would not have been enough given they don’t run very late. We also got the side trip to Mt Wellington, well worth the visit, and Christian our driver was brilliant. He made the day! Think the red decker buses could be more frequent and go later.

Bus driver was friendly and a safe driver. Hop on Hop Off could run for longer. Last bus finishes too early, considering there is daylight saving in place and the sun doesn't set till after 9pm. Mt Wellington tour is good, but if its a rainy cloudy day probably not worth bothering. Very expensive way to see Mt Wellington.
